Francis' role is mostly during the event. He's in charge of communications and Public Relations during the event. He's like the Turbo fest Mascot (not to take anything from Turbo Man). When there is a need to take the mic for competitions or any general announcements, he's there to speak for Turbo. Like
everybody in the crew, he doesn't have that much time to actually juggle during the event!
Francis always liked to perform. Born in Montreal, he studied theater and cinema as a teenager. He was initiated to juggling in 1996 and two years later, he was already earning a living as a juggler. He started Circus School in 2002 here in Québec, where he invented the Dextres, his special juggling props. He's been the official juggling coach of the school from 2006 to 2009. As he is very polyvalent in circus arts, he's worked for Cirque du Soleil many times and is now part of Les Confins, a new circus/Theater collective where his sense
of humour and many
different skills are
used in their show:
