Turbo 418 was founded in September 2006, by several jugglers from the Circus School of Québec. Turbo 418 took off by holding its first ever festival, Le Carnabal de Québec, in January 2007. About 200 jugglers from several countries attended and the festival was an instant success. From then on, and
under the new name of Turbo Fest, the festival has attracted year after year more than 500 juggling enthusiasts. The event has since become the largest
juggling festival in Canada.
